I have recently bought a domain from Google Domains. So what are the
things that I considered to choose the domain registrar is I am going to
share in this article.

Choosing Best Domain Name Registrars
We have to compare the above companies based on these tags.
1. Price 2. Tax fee 3. Whois Privacy protection 4. Free
SSL 5. Can make subdomains?
6. 24/7 support and user interface 7. Domain transfer fee 8. Add
on services
The above considerations taken are depend on me. Because I don't buy domains in all websites. I have only bought in Google Domains till now. And also I am new to this domain field. You have your own considerations, add those to the list and find your best domain name registrar.
Google Domains
I bought a domain in Google domains. So I know well about
it.
- They didn't offer any discounts.
- Price - For a top level domain like .com domain you have to pay $11.81/year (without tax) and for renewal $11.81/year (without tax)
- Tax fee - You have to see that tax is included in your cart or not. In India 18% GST tax for online goods. Tax in India is included in cart and almost $2.13 in Google domains.
- Whois Privacy Protection - Yes it is free forever in Google domains. No fee you have to pay for that.
- Free SSL - No Google domains didn't deal with any ssl you have to separately buy the ssl if you need it. Google domains offers only domains. But their platform like Blogger and sites.google offer free ssl service.
- Can make subdomains? - Yes, you can make subdomains in Google domains. You can see in this link -> In the left part of the page, they mentioned you can make subdomains.
- 24/7 support and user interface - Yes there is 24/7 support and the user interface is also Good and simple.
- Domain transfer fee - They mentioned something about that in this link -> Transfer a domain to Google domains
- Add on services - Google domains didn't offer any add on services. It is only for domains.

Something need to consider about Google Domains - We use search console and other google products. So if you buy a domain in Google domains, then you can easily verify those
domains in all google products.

Google domains is now sold to squarespace domains. So all existing domains will move to squarespace. After completely moved all google domains to squarespace, domain renewal price in squarespace will vary and also new buying domain price will be high than google domains.

- They offer many discounts
- Price - For .com domain they offer $8.88 for first time and ICANN fee $0.18 separately added to your cart. Renewal at $12.98/year (only domain without any fee)

- Whois Privacy Protection - Yes it is free
- Free SSL - No you have to buy separately. They offer many ssl in different prices.
- Can make subdomains? - Yes we can make subdomains
- 24/7 support and user interface - Yes they offer 24/7 support and user interface also good.
- Domain transfer fee - to transfer .com domain $8.58(without any tax) and renew price is $12.98(without any tax)
- Add on services - They offer many add on services.
Something need to consider about Namecheap - When you add the ssl in your cart the price of the cart increases. For first time ssl price is low and renew price is higher than first time price.

- They offer many discounts when you buy for 2 or more years.
- Price - For .com domain the price is $11.99/year (They mentioned in disclaimers all included with tax. Check this) and renew at $18.99/year (They mentioned in disclaimers all included with tax. Check this)
- Tax fee - You have to consider this based upon your country.
- Whois Privacy Protection - No free whois privacy protection
- Free SSL - No free ssl
- Can make subdomains? - Yes we can make subdomains
- 24/7 support and user interface - Yes they offer 24/7 support and user interface also good.
- Domain transfer fee - They mentioned transfer your .com domain for $11.99. You need to check these things.
- Add on services - They offer many add on services.
Something need to consider about GoDaddy - This is very much expensive website. Even though the whois protection also you have to pay. After adding ssl to your cart, price is too much high.

There is a similar website in the same name domains.com, only single
's' is the difference. So make sure you choose the right website

- 24/7 support and user interface - Not full support. Only call and chat support. Don't mentioned 24/7 support.
- Domain transfer fee - They mentioned transfer your .com domain for $9.99 and and get free 1 year registration. You need to check these.
- Add on services - They offer many add on services.
Something need to consider about Domain.com - It is also very much expensive website. Even though they didn't offer free whois protection. After add the ssl value to your cart, price will increase.

- Tax fee - You have to consider this based upon your country.
- Whois Privacy Protection - yes they offer free whois protection

- Can make subdomains? - Yes we can make subdomains.
- 24/7 support and user interface - They didn't mention 24/7 support but offer email and chat support. No debt card or gpay payment gateway for Indian customers.
- Domain transfer fee - To transfer .com domain for $8.58 (without any tax)
- Add on services - They offer add on services.
Something need to consider about Porkbun - They offer cheat price but the support is you have to consider. If you know everything about backend means no problem. But if you struck in any area means then you need support.

Something need to consider about Dyandot - They offer cheap domains and they offer free single page website builder, you can add at cart. Support you have to consider because they didn't provide 24/7 support.

Domain + Hosting Plan Companies
I have selected some companies. They offer free domain with
hosting plan. If you have to buy hosting plus domain means you can
go to these option.
- Hostinger
- Hostgator
- Bluehost
- Wordpress.com
Also other companies like namecheap and many other companies offer
hosting, you can also check that, but don't know they will provide free
domain with hosting or not.
Also check the above four companies official websites for more
details.
Conclusion
My recommendation is even though whois protection is not free in
godaddy and domain.com so don't buy domain in those websites.
They are very expensive. If you want means then your choice you can
buy in those companies. After by seeing the above comparison, I
think you will get an idea.
I am comparing only my needs. So don't forget to add your needs to
the list and compare and choose the best company. This is best
method to find your correct domain name registrar.
